This Contract Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into and made effective as of the date of acceptance, by and between the Law Society of Singapore (the “Society”) and the recipient of pro bono services (the “Recipient”). Whereas, the Society has established a pro bono program to provide legal services at no cost to individuals and organizations unable to afford legal representation; and Whereas, the Recipient is in need of legal assistance and has agreed to accept pro bono services from the Society; Now, therefore, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises made by the parties hereto, the Society and the Recipient agree as follows:
This Agreement, including any attachments, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the subject matter hereof, and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, negotiations, and discussions, whether oral or written, between the parties. This Agreement may only be amended or modified in writing, signed by both parties. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Agreement as of the date first above written.
